Terhitung sejak tanggal 1 July 2008 namaku sudah tambah panjang, Mr Michael Setiawan Tanudjaya. BSc(Hons), MSc. Well for some of people this additional degree things might showing their pride on what they have done in university, or showing to the world that they are expert or master in one things. But it’s not happen for me, actually I don’t really fancy to talk about this. This additional name extension for me is just stone of remembrance that Michael, has done very stupid things in his life, since February 2008 he has worked for his dissertation night and day, with the expectation of distinction results, God has given 24 hours a day in his life, he has used it 6 hours for sleep, 4 hours for work part time in Marks and Spencer to pay his rent and food, and 10 hours in lab every day, every week, every month until May 2008. But when the results come up it comes with unexpected degree. Well there are so many expressions that I found from my friends expression. Some of them have been really grateful when they know that they just pass, some of them shocked when they know that they got distinction but for me it’s just like S**T when I knew my results. I just see it, I hate myself and all the stupidity that I got, and it fells like I just want to burn my dissertation down and all of my research paper, working 625 hours in 2 months and come up with unexpected results make my life in the very bottom valley of death. I don’t know what I can learn from these things, there a lot of things that I want to blame like have no attention from my supervisor that I supposed to have, working part time to pay the rent and food, a thousand reasons to state in here, but hehey…. I am not looking for excuse and say yeah I am the right one and the other around me is wrong. I just want to learn from my mistake, but sometimes chance only come once, and when you have used the chance with all the best that you can do but the lucky things still not on your side what you can do except just received it as it is? Well in this point I don’t want blamed anyone else, what I want to do now is I am going to focused for my work in the future, whatever in the past is in the past I am not going to look at the back anymore, I just want to say thanks to God for the chance to have degree from my own money. Lesson learned from the new master graduate: in the mathematical point of view, if I count word A =1, B=2, and C=3, and so on and so on………..
